Oh! what a surprise!
Who would have thought it?
A reduction of the Liberal majority was looked for, but none anticipated such a wholesale turn-over as has taken place.
While Alberta went solid -- with the exception of Calgary -- in favour of Reciprocity, this constituency gave R.B. Bennett one of the largest majorities of the election against this pact.
The snow of last week has badly laid much of the crop which was still uncut, but farmers do not seem to think they will suffer much loss except in time and labour owing to being only able to cut one way.
